How to connect to Bell's free Wi-Fi Hotspots

Bell Mobility clients can enjoy unlimited Wi-Fi access on Canada’s largest Wi-Fi network from coast-to-coast. Bell has also partnered with major retailers to offer Wi-Fi nationally. Bell hotspots can be found at participating locations at:
  • Tim Horton’s
  • McDonald’s
  • Indigo/Chapters
Additional Bell hotspots include:
  • Boulevard St Laurent (a 1.6km area along St Laurent in Montreal)
  • Wasaga Beach
  • Royal Ontario Museum
Bell also provides Wi-Fi hotspots at public events across the country. To look-up participating locations, visit bell.ca/WiFi.
The advantage of being a Bell Mobility subscriber:
While some hotspots are open to all users, others are not. Only Bell Mobility subscribers get free and unlimited access to all Bell’s hotspots.

    Troubleshooting:
Changing permissions for the below in your Internet Browser settings will resolve the majority of Wi-Fi connectivity issues. Refer to the device user manual if unsure how to change these settings.
    • Allow/accept cookies.
    • Enable java script.
    • Allow pop-ups.
    Auto-authentication for Wi-Fi:
    • Starting in 2012, Bell has started testing Wi-Fi auto-authentication for Bell clients.
    • During this testing, Some Bell clients within a Bell hotspot (excluding hotspots at retail partner locations) may be automatically taken off the mobile network and put onto secure Bell Wi-Fi - without needing to launch their browser and accept Terms and Conditions.
    • This will only occur if the user has their Wi-Fi signal turned on.
    • More details will be made available when the service launches.
